ABOUT HOME FEDERAL

Home Federal has been serving Idahoans for over 80 years, offering residents complete banking services including mortgage lending, personal and business lending, investment services, savings accounts, and our signature Totally Free Checking.

We opened our doors in Nampa, Idaho in 1920 in response to a plea from citizens for new home construction financiers. Nampa was experiencing a serious housing shortage and Home Federal went into business for the sole purpose of helping residents build their homes.

Home Federal has evolved over the years along with banking practices as evidenced by the beginning of our new "store" concept in March, 2000. Nearly all of our stores now feature an Internet Café, where customers are invited to surf the Internet. An Investment Center offers a big screen television broadcasting financial news, the most current edition of Barron's, and Internet access to a variety of informative investment Web sites, including The Wall Street Journal. Our Home Resource Center showcases publications and Web sites that help prospective homebuyers determine how much home they can afford, find homes they'd like to view, and more. Guests can sip a cup of the special Home Federal coffee blend, while taking advantage of the store's many value-added elements.

The "Store" concept is operating successfully in all our retail branch locations, including the Home Federal offices inside six Wal-Mart Supercenters throughout Southern Idaho.
